As I Lay Dying Reminisce About 10 Years As A Band « Music Reviews, Interviews & News

Grammy®-nominated metal group As I Lay Dying, are gearing up for the release of “Decas” and their upcoming headline trek dubbed the ‘A Decade of Destruction Tour’, both coinciding with the band’s 10-year anniversary. “Decas” celebrates the band’s accomplishments by offering three brand new songs, cover songs that pay homage to just a few of the bands that have influenced As I Lay Dying, and remixes by INNERPARTYSYSTEM (Katy Perry, Ladyhawke, Thursday, Good Charlotte and many others), Benjamin Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Kelly “Carnage” Cairns (Austrian Death Machine, War of Ages), and Big Chocolate (Asking Alexandria, iwrestledabearonce, Suicide Silence).

Leading up to the release date of “Decas” on Nov 8^th, Revolver Magazine will be posting a video each day of the band discussing some of their most memorable tour stories from 10 years on the road. First up, drummer Jordan Mancino and bassist Josh Gilbert talk about 2002′s Furnace Fest.

As I Lay Dying’s ‘A Decade of Destruction Tour’ featuring special guests Of Mice and Men, The Ghost Inside, iwrestledabearonce, and Sylosis will kick off on November 30 in Long Island, NY and wrap up in the band’s hometown, San Diego, on December 16 (see dates below.)
