ROTTEN SOUND has posted a video for the track “Self”, taken from their forthcoming album Cursed. The “Self” video was filmed by Rami Kallio at ROTTEN SOUND’s show at Vastavirta in Tampere, Finland. The video uses the album version of “Self” that features guest vocals from VICTIMS’ Johan Eriksoon. ROTTEN SOUND has previously posted the track “Plan” from Cursed online via the band’s MySpace and Facebook pages.
Cursed will see its worldwide (excluding Finland) release on March 16th via Relapse Records on CD, LP and digitally. The CD is available for pre-order now at this location and a deluxe digital version that includes two bonus tracks and digital booklet is available for pre-order at iTunes. Cursed, the follow-up to 2008′s Cycles, was recorded at Nordic Audio Labs. Lyrically, the 16-track album is themed around the six curses of mankind.
ROTTEN SOUND will kick-off a month-long European headlining tour in early April to support Cursed and also include TRAP THEM, GAZA, THE KANDIDATE and HAUST. A complete listing of confirmed ROTTEN SOUND tour dates can be found below with more to be announced soon.
