Thrash legends Slayer are to perform their 25-year old classic “Reign In Blood” album in its entirety in London next May.
The quartet headline the first night of the “I’ll Be Your Mirror London 2012” weekender at the Alexandra Palace, which takes place from 25th – 27th May 2012. Mogwai and Guided By Voices will headline the other two nights.
Support for Slayer will come from influential doom metal trailblazers Sleep, playing their first UK show since 2009, and the legendary Melvins.
Mogwai’s headlining appearance on Saturday 26th May will be their only English show of 2012, and they will be supported by Mudhoney, playing their first shows since 1994 with their original line-up, and the recently reformed Codeine.
Guided By Voices will be playing their first UK show since 2003 when they headlines Sunday 27th May: so far, the only support confirmed for this night are Yuck. More artists, DJs and other activities are to be confirmed.
Weekend tickets will cost £130, with a limited amount of ‘early bird’ tickets available at £120. Friday day tickets are £39, and Saturday and Sunday day tickets are £59 each. Tickets will be on sale here at 10am this coming Friday (11 November).
