There is no let-up for the hard working Foo Fighters, who waste no time starting off the new year announcing new single ‘These Days’ and receiving a Brit Award nomination for Best Group.
Described by Dave Grohl as his single proudest songwriting moment, ‘These Days’ is the fourth single from the band’s multi-platinum, multiple award nominated, Worldwide #1 album “Wasting Light” (Roswell/Columbia).
Wasting Light has been a global chart fixture since its April 2011 release. The massive sold-out world tour has seen the Foos headline the Isle of Wight and T In The Park music festivals as well as hosting two sold-out nights at the gigantic Milton Keynes Bowl, which saw the band produce a spectacular ‘Foo’s Love-In’, playing both greatest hits and new tracks for nearly three hours and leaving each night’s crowd of 60,000 fans baying for more.
During Foo Fighters‘ recent record-breaking down under stadium tour, the band confirmed their status as one of the hardest rocking bands in the world, when their gig in Auckland, New Zealand literally caused Earthquake-like tremors to be picked up by the nearby monitoring station! Rock and Roll!
